Yarde Metal. They are a national company. Good prices and didn't charge me shipping because they had a warehouse in High Point and ran a truck to a customer's within 5 miles of my house. Good selection, too. I got 5x12 ft .063 5052 from them. Be forewarned if you have to go pick it up that it comes flat, not rolled. I also paid the extra $10/sheet to get PVC coating on 1 side to protect it during shipping and am glad I did. It protected it during shipping and more importantly in my shop! Good luck!

Does everyone use Aluminum, or do some choose Stainless Steel? I'm pricing both but I'm curious if one is better than the other for teardrops? I know if you compare equal thicknesses that the SS is gonna be heavier...

I was thinking SS also. When using alluminum, I've been told .040, could I get buy with alot thinner since SS is stronger?
I'm considering 1/8" luan under SS. Why SS you ask? My neighbor works for a sheet metal company and that's what they make duct work out of for factories, hoping I can get a good $. But he said alluminum is available also. He brought me some SS from the scrap bin for my hydrogen generator, but that's a whole different subject.
Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, or conserns?

I had considered using SS BUT found it to be cost prohibitive along with being more difficult to work with(probably) so I went with the AL instead...it has been several years but it seemed that SS cost per sq ft was in line with what AL cost per running foot(about 5X as much)...I am using .040 AL and was considering .025 SS...I don't know about handling the SS but .040 AL can be wrinkled just looking at it crosseyed...also considered copper but I didn't have the national debt levels to work with..........................
