unusual frame measurements

Ok today while I was waiting for some trim to soak, then bend into the proper curve, I decided to rip the floor off the Timberline frame, and decide what size/type/ etc my next tear would be

Here's a pic

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/ ... e007-1.jpg

the distance between the wheels (red line) is 5' 1/2"
The distance between the outside of the frame rails (green line) is 4' 6"
Can't go 5 foot, can't go 4 foot
Looks like whatever I build will be 4'6" wide.
You want to build WHAT?????

you only need maybe an inch between the wheels and the frame so you could weld some 2" tube to the outside of the frame to make it 4" wider

I'm going 4' 6" between the walls fo mine. You should have plenty of room to do the same if you wanted. Just mount the side walls to the side of the frame.

This is just the right width for a full sized mattress. I'll use 5' aluminum and wood for the top, there shouldn't be too much waste.
