What does your build shop look like

I am still in research mode & though I have several options my 2 bay shop has my tractors and my convertible inside. My barn is across the field so it is not a good option to build in. I use both tractors in snow removal so I need them up here.

I am very curious where everyone builds there tears and I love seeing how people set up there shops as well as any outside storage between working

I hate all of you with garages/workshops!

My dirt driveway is a fair weather friend only!

I used to have a small shop attached to a 2-car gargage, but not anymore. I have a 2gargage and if I build again it will have to be in one side of that and out in the driveway! :(

My garage is 16'x39' and is a bit cluttered. work space in the back and wife parks her car up front so it works, barely.

My wife asked me about putting her Pickup in the garage but I told her it all ready had a roof and didn't need to be inside, not to mention I like to keep the paint on the truck and not on the garage walls. I never believed in a car in the garage till I got my convertible & the top really requires it in the winter. My tractor is always kept inside. I can build my tear and dry fit everything till I'm ready to assemble it and hoist it overhead with my chain fall. It is easy enough to drive stuff out to work in the shop on the weekends. I also need a place to sit and smoke my pipe too

Nice workshops! Some people are just damn lucky to have enough room for a table saw and be able to walk clear around it. Not to mention to be able to just see the floor.

Here is a representation of my garage. Let's just say my table saw is square number one, to use it, I have to get it to the empty square space to use it.

This is my teardrop workshop.

If the weather gets really bad, I build a makeshift lean-to from a tarp.

mine looks like a complete mess...both the 30x40 pole barn, and the 2 car attached garage!

Been extremely busy lately, and havent even started winterizing the place yet...but thats the next project, get the barn and the garage cleaned (I hate scraping windows in the morning) and re-organized to a workable level, and start getting some pre-winter projects done around here!

I hate winterizing, I have been getting everything put away myself and reorganizing my shop and out buildings. I will be mounting the plow and snow blower thanks giving weekend. I'm in pretty good shape though, I do have to fence off my water garden so my dopey dogs don't fall through the ice. I do need to go through the shop and put everything away, it has gotten very untidy.

My arrangement is like Cliff's. All my tools are on mobile bases. Anytime I work, some or many things have to get moved.

(BTW, the open half of the garage is now filled with a 50% complete teadrop.)

Here's my summer time set-up.
