Tail lights

We decided to change the configuration of our trailer's tail lights. From this

This is just a trial fit. The brackets still needs to be painted and installed.
When I get them installed I will post pics of the finished product. I will be cutting the old section of bracket off.

Just an F.Y.I. rather than trash your 1st work how about installing oval clears for back up lights ?

Arriving after dark is a pain and a little ilumination may help you avoid that errant tree syndrome. Nothing ruins a weekend faster than a caved in hatch.

I hit a yard sale way back when and purchased a pair of those little blue zenon driving lights for a couple of bucks. I installed them on Chubby as break down or back up lights I mounted them right behind each tire so they would shine side to side under the trailer. They have been tested now and then but I have never actually needed them. I have a campin' buddy that the big joke is which 2 campers are gonna shine the flashlights so he can get backed in.

I used a similar light (minus the LEDS)and I mounted extra lights below the hatch for extra visibility. Just a thought.

Those are Model A lamps I think, Back up lamps on the trailer is a great idea. Nothing darker than arriving at a state park at night. Just remember some wildlife get caught up in the lights and cant move.
