teardrop build

i see from a lot of photos they use thin sheets of ply wood for the roof. how do you get it to bend ? i would think even 1/8" would break. i,am a new builder.

There are some woods that will crack pretty easily. For those you pour very hot water on them and go slow! Plywood is easier to bend across the length so if you need more than one piece you might as well go for it. :twisted:

longdraw,,,,I used 1/8 baltic birch for my exterior and interior roof..about $20 a sheet here in utah....I may skin the roof with aluminum later....the birch bent well with no cracks but I don't have any extreme bends.....Good luck
