Using electrical conduit in framing....

After reading the post about using PVC piping in framing, I began to wonder, what about using galvanized electrical conduit in framing.... what would you all think??

...the flexing problem would still apply, confounded by the fact that since it is metal, it would have a "memory" component that could add to the warpage problem. Other problems would include electrical conductivity and galvanic corrosion. However it would be far superior to PVC

I am not saying NO to either one, just a lot of thought would have to be involved in using either material.

Either material used as an adjunct to and not as a replacement for wood might even be a good idea

As I said in the other post, this is IMHO and YMMV

MJ, in my readings of this forum, I have come to respect YHO. As I think many of us have.
