Gluing bubble pack insulation to aluminum

Postby GuitarPhotog » Mon Mar 07, 2011 7:14 pm

I intend to use 0.4" thick bubble pack insulation for the roof of the Tin Tent. Can anyone offer suggestions for adhesives?

I'd prefer a roll-on adhesive because spraying anything in the confines of the trailer could prove hazardous.

I plan to use 1" rigid polystyrene for the walls, so an adhesive that would work on that would be good also.

Thanks in advance

3M makes a water based contact cement 'Fastbond' We used this to bond alum to plywood for tooling purposes. Holds well and no stinky fumes.
