Do you just paint over, or put extra trim around it ? ( ... esp. concerned about the front and rear where the curves meet the trailer. )
Bend the knees, watch the trees, 5$ please.

I feel your Pain my Brother.

A Harbor Freight Frame is an Ugly thing!!!

I have done it a few ways. The first is to Narrow the frame by 1" or 1 1/2" so as to let your outside materials cover it.

The second is to embrace the frame....let it become one with the Trailer.

And what ever you do....get rid of that "Step-up hitch coupler" its a dead give away.

No one will ever Know!

But after the fact....drop back and punt!

 If you look at the plans for the Generic Benroy you will see the frame width is cut 2" so you can hang the siding over! You do loose that 2" though.

I just painted my frame after assembly ( before axle and lights =) and as I was getting the tags ( while the trailer was in the box ) I had it tagged as that color of my trailer exterior.

Pat

PS: As far as the step coupler I added a 1 1/2" sq. tubing from hitch to bumper of the trailer through the hitch as the same way as Nobody did on his trailer =)

Len did you have to do any kind of fab work to make that coupler fit. I like that style better because of the a frame jack.
