Two Lower doors and an upper hatch

Postby mark Holbrook » Thu Apr 28, 2011 3:01 pm

Hi,

I am thinnking about building my teardrop with two lower swing oout doors and a smaller upper hatch. I've see a picture of one like this on this this or another forum. Has anyone done this recently and might have some tips on how to make it all come out nice and sealed?

Thanks,
Mark

I did this on my current TD. Just overlapped the doors and everything stays dry.

Hi Mark-

I did something like that. Still a work in progress...

The guy I bought the trailer from had 3/4" plywood screwed to the Al diamond plate doors. This would be fine if you did not want to support any weight on the barn doors.

Cheers,
