Have I forgotten anything?

I have my: interior ceiling in, my lights in and tested, my fan pre-wired, my insulation in, and power to my galley run. I want to seal up my roof tomorrow. I can't think of anything that I have forgotten to put in my roof. As you all know once I close up my roof I can't get back in.

Can you think of anything???

...how about any wiring necessary for running lights, switches, porch lights, speaker wires, ect. How about a four leaf clover for luck...or a rabbits foot...or a horseshoe :D  ;)

I was gonna ask about any 115v wiring you might want to run also,, ya might just re-think any place you might need blocking for lights etc in the ceiling also,,,

Here's something to think about....make a map with dimensions of where the wires go so when you install the roof, you know where the wires are and don't sink a screw into them....It could get exciting down the road if that happens....just something I did...I also added 8" of wire so that if I had to remove a fixture in the future, I had some working material on it....I also didn't load up my interior fixtures on the same circuit, so that if I had a problem with one fixture, I didn't lose all of them.....but then I tend to overbuild......Doug

Like Doug's idea - another way use a camera and take pictures - not only will you have a record but a picture too. (Use this alot when taking apart old houses)

Gerdo,
No matter whtt you do and who you listen to, the true answer to that question is "of course i have".
I know it sounds like a smart aleck answer, but you know there is something down the line that you'll have to get clever with to incorporate it.
I do like madjack's suggestion of a charm or memento inside. Its a tradition to place a coin under each mast of a sailing ship when they are stepped.

Run at least one extra wire towards the front with some extra length to it and put behind a light or next to the fan with just a littl pitail sticking out behind a fixture in case you want to add something later.

Thanks for the great suggestions. I'm going to add "one more light" tomorrow then seal it up.

Did you consider individual reading lights over the pillows?
