Is Galvalume the same as aluminum?

Does anyone know if Galvalume, which is supposedly used in for roofing houses, the same or better to work with than aluminum for the skin/top on a TD? Came across a company that sells it ($43 per 4 x 8 sheet) in 24 and 26 gauge sheets but not sure how it bends or holds up.

Any help would be appreciated- I am half way done on my first teardrop and eagerly trying to figure out what to cover the roof with besides aluminum which is hard to find in AZ it seems.

Thanks again,
Tom

Also, in the future if you need to buff out a spot, could go through the galvanized layer and have bare steel. Also, cut out areas will be suceptable to rust, and could leave rust streaks running down the side. Could be cool looking if that is the look you are going for.
