fastening interior laun

I am about to attach my laun to the ceiling. What did everyone use? I was thinking about using some acrylic sealant adhesive (lifetime brand) on the spars and fastening the laun with a few t 5/8 inch T air nails.
Any thoughts? will it hold? I am not real thrilled with using big screws.
Can everyone post some pictures of how they attached their inner ceiling panels?

Glue and lots of temporary prop/supports til the glue dries. Hasn't fallen on me yet while I sleep.

I would have no reservations about using these right left and center on every other spar. Keep your spacing uniform and they will look good.

Not sure about the sealant you want to use, but most wood glues will work fine. The fasteners just need to hold the celing in place while the glue dries. I've seen somebody who glued the celing to the spars on the shop floor then installed in one piece.

Why are you using the acrylic sealant, as opposed to a wood glue? If you're trying to seal it as well as bond it, I would use the polyurethane construction adhesive in the tubes. Its a structural adhesive, waterproof, and has some gap filling capabilities.
I love my narrow crown stapler as an instant clamp. Then again... I'm not going for a wood look on the interior. A bit of bondo, sanding, and you can't tell where the staples are under the paint.

+1.... I used Titebond II wood glue
Also run a bead on the outside where the headliner touches the spars if you have access to it.
