I was thinking of using the 15 amp power center I took out of the 1977 popup but I don't know if it will provide the power needed for the a/c refrigerator and anything else plugged in so I'm looking at the WFCO 8955 55 amp Power Center anybody use this unit?

Here is my post on the WFCO 8725. They are good units. Do you need 55amps?

Ok, do you have a fridge that runs on alternating current, or was to be read as a fridge and an airconditier you want to run on DC? The AC side should really only be limited by what you plug it into, so if you plug it into 15 amp service, you get 15 amps total before you trip a breaker on the power post or your main breaker. If you plug it into 30 amp service.... The 15 amp rating should be on the DC side of the power center.
