I am using the offset hinge and am at the point of no return
(or beyond..)

Before I go further and add glue and such; beside it is too long...any of you see anything wrong yet or mind sharing advice to go forward with...?

I routed a slot so mine dropped down when using the older style. That way I could bury it under the skin on the roof of the trailer, cut down on visible fasteners or the plastic trim. I have no visible fasteners on hatch or body. On the hatch, it overlays the hatch itself so it kinda acts like a shingle.

Nothing wrong with how you are doing it though. Allow some hangover on the sides as a water diverter. I have an inner raised piece on the galley sides that won't allow any water to creep over the edge at the hatch joint. Just what I did. Doug
