Adding in a roof fan

Hi -

We have a used cubby with only one window. I would like to either add another window on the door or a roof vent.

Which will be easier to do and what one would be most effective?

Well, to answer what would be most effective, both.

IMHO, a roof fan (as noted in the title, instead of a roof vent as noted in the post) will provide more air flow than a 2nd window, but will require wiring.
Is the door framed or silid ply? A framed door may need framing added to suport the window, so could the rootsupport the vent...

I used vent and fan interchangeably :D as I was thinking of the Fan Tastic 4000 reversible model.

The door, i think, is framed (it's a Kuffle Creek Cubby).

The wiring for the roof isn't a problem, but I believe i'll have to cut through 1 or 2 roof spars to put it in properly...
