Bolting the 48" x 40" HF trailer together only took about 2 hours, and the 3ft wide 1 3/8" hollow-core door for the floor has been shortened to 6ft. The 2" filler strips have been glued and screwed to the sides to widen it to 40", both 3/16" laun sides are cut to proper shape and fastened to floor edges. Not too bad for a days work. Roof supports are going in tomorrow, and 1/8" oak will be bent in place on the roof. Got to hurry up and get it built, as I have a solo camping trip planned in 2 weeks. The first one took 5 1/2 months, and this one is going to be simple and light so will be built much quicker.

Am taking pics as I go along and I am enjoying my newly airconditioned workshop and building the second TD at last. Space has been cleared to stack it on end against the wall inside of the garage.

Just an update, after 7 days of building. Today I bolted the tear to the HF frame. The frame weighs 120 lb, and the little teardrop weighs in at 95 lb, without hatch lid and the 2 side doors. So far, only 215 lbs total.
