Jim Dandy has new clothes

Postby dguff » Thu Jul 28, 2011 7:26 pm

I decided to dress up my Jim Dandy a little bit, or dress it down as the case may be. New siding of aged cedar fence boards and new roof of aged corrugated galvanized roofing. Like it or not at least it is a bit different. Of course my spouse has informed me it will be ideal for my solo trips such as my upcoming jaunt to the Bonneville Salt Flats. There are a few more pics in my personal album.

I really like how you ran the wheels "outlaw" style, no fenders.

I've been browsing for ideas and seen some amazing woodwork but something about this makes it the best looking tear I've seen. Great look. :applause:

Take it from a guy guy thats been on the working end of a buffer this week,"that tins never gonna shine up
You could carry your theme a little further, insted of one of the newfangled porta potty tents you could build a wood out house from the same wood as your siding.

That turned out great. It'll fit in perfectly out at Bonneville alongside all the rat rods. :applause:

Jim Dandy is a local plumbing company and when I saw your thread it made me think of their vans. But I like yours better!

HaHa!

You could rename your 'Jim Dandy' the 'Hillbilly Hotel'!

It's cute.
