Just bought my insert molding and all they had was white, would like mill finish. It seems that I read on here once that the paint can be removed. Any hints?
Thanks
Aaron

I'd go to the store and get some paint remover that contains methylene chloride. It's about the best paint remover there is. It is, though, nasty stuff so be sure to wear gloves and goggles (and it will eat the gloves alive).

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Gus

Aircraft paint remover may well be a way to get it off safely. When I had the pain stripped from the aluminum night vision case (olive drab) I took it to the local strip shop.

I had the same problem, so I just sat out in the back yard with a flap sanding wheel in my dremel tool for a couple of hours. A little steel wool when the paint's off and it shines up real nice.
