AUSSIES,Vise Supergrip Polyurethane glue, is that the stuff?

Postby Roostew » Sat Aug 20, 2011 10:36 pm

Hi, I went to the hardware this week and asked for some polyurethane glue, and they reckon they've never heard of it! I did a search and found Vise Supergrip Polyurethane glue (made in Oz!). From what I read it's the right stuff, or is there a better brand to use in Oz? Any suggestions? Thanks, Jim.

Selleys do an aquadhere that is the go. It requires both surfaces to be slightly damp before applying. When it dries you need to destroy the timber if you want to pull it apart. I got mine from bunnings.

G'day Paul, ya answered that faster than yer telephone!! . I did get that stuff mate, but I didn't make a note of where I was going to use it, other than glueing up the cabinets. I recall you saying it was a goer for glueing everything, including the walls to floor, and the spars. You can slap me about with your bottle of it when ya see me! :? Cheers, Jim.
