Help with patching aluminum?

As a result of pulling out the fridge and stove, we will have large vent holes left in our vintage Shasta. Eventually, I'd like to re-do the aluminum skin, but my question is how to patch these large holes in the meantime?

I'm sure this is on the boards somewhere, but my searches are resulting in a ton of threads that don't address it. If someone knowledgeable can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it!

For a temporary fix cut some aluminum the same size as the vents and sandwich it between the trailer and the vents.
Make sure you use sealant or you'll have leaks. :D Danny
