Where would be a good place to buy a cut to fit foam rubber mattress?
I saw a link awhile back on the forum but I can't find it.

Thanks

Made the one we have in our small tear Larry, matress topper and 4 older egg crates cut down and put into a full size matress cover. Works great for 3-4 nights then ready for the big bed!!

We bought ours from this ebay seller. Great service for our custom order, and very happy with the product.
My brother bought his from this seller as well.

Most fabric supply stores have them in large sizes. Bought them in the past for other projects

Walmart has " Bed in a box" 5inch and 8 inch in most stores. Cut it down to size with an electric carving knife.

We are using a full size Futon mattress from IKEA. Now for 4 seasons still holding up geat, and easy to get out if needed.

Some have used this company http://knoxfoam.com/default.htm
Walmart also has memory foam mattresses in a variety of grades and sizes.

Had mine custom cut at "Bob's House of Foam" in Fremont CA. Not the cheapest solution.

Many of the members bought from Knox Foam (shut down due to economy). Hopefully, someone will provide a similar referral here. You could custom order various densities of foam put together for selected firmness, and purchase an optional zipper cover.

My temper-pedic was laying at the curb about 5 minutes when I went to the door and asked if I could have it. The homeowner ( a very cute 20 something petite blond) even helped me toss it in the truck.
Those damn things are heavy.

She was apologizing for the rip ( an accident when moving it) as it was the reason it was being replaced. A little trimming and it fit my latest 4x7 build. With a little cloth tape and a quilted mattress topper it sleeps like a million bucks.

Any one remember my expensive freecycle mattress in the barn.

When I arrived to pick it up it turned out to be two mattresses ,a twin and a queen size. It was a bit of a struggle to stuff it into my little Suzuki Esteem

This morning I went to a local upholstery supply store and ordered a 2&1/2" thick extra firm piece of foam rubber that will also be cut to size. I wanted it kinda thin so I could roll it up and push it under my rear cabinets. I'm also gonna have a zippered mattress cover made. It'll be alitter bigger in case I want to put some egg crate mattress toppers in it.
