Postby randy chesnutt » Sat Aug 20, 2005 12:39 pm

today is the complettion date for the titan. started lay out dec. 17th. i have just under 1300 hrs. tied up in it and the cost, well i'm still working on that, i know that $3,000 came and went. the wife accused me of trying to put our winnebago motorhome in it. i'm really proud of it. kinda hate to sell it. after the ralley in INKS LAKE i will be selling it. don't need it, when you got a motorhome. i just wanted to build one and meet the nice people on the form. will i build another? we will see. i posted some new pictures on page three of my album

Your teardrop

Postby KZ76017 » Sun Aug 21, 2005 1:27 am

Are you going to be putting it up on Ebay? I'd be curious how high the bidding would go!     8)

You might want to sell the motorhome and keep the teardrop, the way gas prices are skyrocketing!

hey, where'd ya get those things holding up your hatch? I've been looking for some of those!!

Nice Tear!

Postby poolking » Sun Aug 21, 2005 2:43 pm

Hey All,

My wife and I went over to Randy's last month to look at his tear. Very nice! He did a great job on it. I have some pictures of it, if you want to see some I will e-mail some to you.

Mike and Peggy

PS. I wanted to get a picture of him towing the teardrop trailer with his motorhome. Maybe at Inks Lake.

Randy,
very nice work. Looking forward to seeing it (you too) at Inks Lake.

Hey KZ76017, I have a pair of those hatch supports if you want them they are yours. If you are going to the Inks Lake Gathering I will bring them with me.

First off let me tell you the tear looks good, well done. So you have a Motorhome, that's no reason to sale the teardrop. I have a 32' Class 'A' motorhome, a 15' Vintage Travel Trailer and the Teardrop. They all have there place and we enjoy them when we use them. The teardrop gets used the most because with it we can just get up and go. The motorhome takes about a day to get it ready to go camping. Keep them both and you'll find you'll use them both and if it's paid for and you don't need the money, why not. You have to use the teardrop to enjoy it. Don't take it to a gathering and then sleep in the motorhome  You've built a beautiful Teardrop, enjoy it and enjoy the gathering for all it offers.

Have a good day.

gage, first of all i thank you . second, the motorhome will stay at home. just me the pick-up and the teardrop. i'm looking foreward to the gathering. the wife will not be going. she said that we ruffed it in earleir years and she is not going backward. modern time camper. i to have gotten use to that style of camping. i guess it deals with age. we can be on the road in a hour. retired folks.
