I was wondering if anyone used some sort of fastener that didnt look like a screw or nail when attaching trim inside? At dinner last night when I brought this up, Gremlin suggested we use drawer pulls or something like that. Still playing with different ideas.

You said other than screws, so this probably won't help... but I've been thinking of attaching my inside skin using screws and finish washers (or cup washers).

How about hiding them with these plastic covers....
http://www.pro-dec.com/
They come in wood grain also for a pin and peg look!
I found some really sharp looking steel reinforcing rosettes that had a snowflake like look or maybe lace. They didnt hide the screw head but they did take your eye. I really wanted them for the 1st build but they were $$$$$$ so I simply used the plactic rosettes.
Here is some of the bigger metal ones but they do make the 1" ones I just can't find any pictures.

Great idea Zach that led me to think about the old snaps that teh CJ5 and older military Jeeps had. I could just get some black snaps and use those.

I am about ready to put the trim on the wall to ceiling panels. i cut them out of solid poplar and going to stain them black. they are about 3/4 inch square. i was wondering what did you use to fasten them in place? Glue, brads finish nails screws. i am just not sure. thanks for helping the fastening challenged.

I used glue and just enough brads to help hold the trim boards in place; but, my trim was only 1/4".

Yeah I am using 3/4 thick poplar and its to hide some large defects in my cuts. Just don't know if glue will stick to ureathane and don't want it to drip.
