2005 Teardrop Trailer

I purchased this one.... going to pick it up over christmas vacation...
how tall would you say that it is inside at the tallest part?
The owners are out of town right now and won't be home for a week so they can't answer my question.
Thanks!
Does anyone ever put their bed up a foot and use the underneath part for storage or would that not work? better to build cabinets inside over foot part of bed?

If the builder used a 4x8 sheet on the sidewalls(likely), and you allow for 2" for the floor and 2" for the ceiling construction, I would *guess* it would be about 3'8" at the inside tallest point. however, this could change with the way they built it...
In looking at the shelf above the foot of the bed, if you were to raise the floor a foot, it would make a really tight squeeze. If you take a look through some of the gallery pics, you will see some storage examples below the bed. In mine, I put a small storage space(about 4" deep, the width of the trailer) between the framework of the trailer - you can see it in the link below...

That posting reminded me of the campfire scene in "Blazing Saddles"

What are we doing up at this hour on a Sunday night still looking at tear stuff? My wife's working, so I have a LITTLE bit of an excuse.

...Kat, from looking at the pics it appears that you will have somewhere in the neighborhood of 40" of headroom +- for thickness of ceiling, floor, mattress, it also appears that the vents are standard size, so replacement with a Fantastic should be no problem...hey, you sure ya gonna wait till christmas to pick it up

lol I'm sure not going now with the hurricane!
Yes, I want to make a nice trip of it so will wait till I have two weeks off over Christmas. My aunt lives near the people I bought it from so I want to go see her.
Thanks ..all for the input.
I was hoping it was at least 3 1/2 feet tall inside
I will be pulling it with a Toyota Tundra double cab pickup so I will have plenty of room for storage of stuff in it.
But it would be nice to have a little fold down table and little cabinet inside the trailer for necessities in the night
like my lap top LOL
Yes that two vents at the top is interesting...
