floor support

In the generic benroy plans and most build logs people are making a 1x2 board frame that matches the trailer frame. Then the floor and profile attached to that. What is wrong with attaching the floor and profile directly to the trailer frame?

Nothings wrong with that at all. Some people build up with 1x2 framing so they can install insulation in the floor. This was kind of just covered here...
