YES Gage ! YES YES !!! Forest that is what I want to build !!! Im not looking at bombing across the desert ,just tooling . As of right now im thinking of 4.5 'W X 9'L X 4.5'H. Will the wood frame ones hold up ??? Was thinking of going with a torsion axel just to give more ground clearance . Will they hold up or should I go with a conventional axel ? Then I was reading about the plywood delaminating . It get's pretty hot here in southern Nevada . Any thoughts ?? Sorry sooo many Q's ...

Joanne lives in Nevada if i recall so she may have a few more ideas. I went with 2 inch square tubing and 3/4 baltic birch plywood. my dimensions are 5 feet wide 100 feet long 3 foot tongue and 4 feet tall. went with a conventional 3500lb axle with 2000lb leaf springs. questions are good for sure.

How about this one? Maybe not the type jeep you had in mind. It's tiny: 3' x 7' inside. I started with a Korean War-vintage M100 1/4 ton trailer -borrowed the tongue, axle, and fenders off it. 2" square tube steel frame. I would take it anywhere the jeep can go.

Thanks, I did! Took advantage of this warm midwest weather we're getting.
