Building a generic benroy

1. 1/8 ply inside ¼ ply out sound ok?
2. Can I rip 1 ½ spars out of ¾ ply?
3. What is a good sealer for inside and out if I want the wood to look natural not stained ?

Thanks for any input kinda stuck at the moment

1. I would protect that outer skin from bumps and knocks if it was mine.

2. Sounds okay to me

3. I use a product by bondal to seal my ply from moisture but, if you plan to have the natural look as a finish, I would be checking the West system or some of the two pack epoxies.
