Evercoat 27 question (?)

Does anyone have any experience with Evercoat 27 for general filling in wood (small cracks, screwholes, etc.)? My weekender is all plywood exterior and I plan to paint it. After sanding, I planned to seal with CPES, fill with Fill-it, and fiberglass all the edges before painting. Thought I had everything ordered, but Jamestown Distributors forgot to tell me that the Fill-it was on backorder and wouldn't be available for two weeks (big thumbs down on their feedback survey). I can get Evercoat 27 from a local marine supply company and it looks pretty good for what I need, but I'm not sure about its compatibility with CPES and which one to do first. The only thing negative that I can find online is the fact that it sets up quickly and has to be worked in very small batches.
