I have started putting on the roor spars and am wondering if I need to fill in the spot at the edge. I am cutting the filler pices out of a 2x4 with a band saw so it isn't to bad. I feel that I need them but did not know for sure. What do you think?

You blokes have done a lot more of this sort of work than I have but from those pics I'd say yes, put them in.
There's not a lot to hold the roof cladding when it goes on so any extra strength in there has got to be a good thing hasn't it ?
If it's not a big hassle to cut out some filler pieces, I'd be doing it. :)

Clint!

I call 'em "Tack Blocks" ('cause you tack the ceiling to 'em) and yes, they are a good idea ... but holy cow, 2x4s ... ... ;) ... I normally use 1x4 or scraps of 3/4" plywood (much easier, and lighter, too). Looks like you are having fun though ... keep up the good work! As always ...

CHEERS!
