I used EZ breeze windows in my last build and they worked great. Their on a 4 track system with glass part being vnyl so there pretty tough. You open them up or down and have 2/3rd's of the window open. You can even get them tinted if you want.

I used windows salvaged from an RV. Junkyards and larger RV dealers that do repair work will usually have them.

Hi
Does anyone know of windows suitable for walls of less than 1" thickness? I don't really like the option of using spacers, as I would like the inside as flush as possible.

I got my windows from the eBay seller I linked below. You can order a trim ring to fit any size walls from under an inch to 2 1/4". They are good quality and from the few test fits we've done it looks like they will install easily and look nice when we're done. They come with a pretty decent looking weather seal, so when you attach them to the trim ring it will seal the outside wall against the weather seal, looks like a pretty painless install.

I used the 15"x18" crankout windows that Grant sells. They are very sturdy and the crank out opening is great for when you want some fresh air and its raining as the water can't get in the opening. They were very easy to install in my .75" thick ply doors.
Here you can see they mount darn near flush on the inside...

And from the outside... The windows have plastic covers for the screws, I just hadn't mounted the left side yet.

Thanks for the suggestions, DudKC and Robby. I particularly like the crank-open window, also very smooth on the inside. Nice window indeed. And a very nice build, Robby! Where would I find details on this Grant?

The ones I got off ebay you could get for any depth, you just had to let them know so they would send the correct depth trim ring.

I like the ones on Grant's site, but I'd like mill finish ones better. Anyone know where you could get those? I even thought jalousie windows might be nice...

bobnlyd, have you looked into shed windows at all? Some people with the thicker walls use them and they can be found very cheap!
