How to glue pink foam to interior paneling??
Hi all I've been lurking here to get tips on what works, you all have some great ideas. I am designing a "foam and glass tear drop like trailer. the outer skin will be epoxy glassed foam so I will build it inside out . and I will need to glue the foam to the innerpaneling and frame
thanks

You can find "foam board" cement or glue at nearly any lumber yard or Lowes or Home Depot etc. It's in a tube that looks like caulk but be sure it says safe for foam or it'll eat it up.

Silicone sealant also works.

When I looked into that about a year ago, I found that titebond was used. And more recently than that, Steve used epoxy.
I would test whatever you want to use, to make sure it doesn't disolve the EPS.

A construction adhesive in a tube works really well. One brand I think is called Liquid Nails.

The newer water based contact adhesives work well without a lot of residual outgassing of really stinky fumes for quite a while. As in latex paint, you could probably mix in a small amount of vanilla extract to lessen any odors. About 1/2 teaspoon per quart would probably work.

Apparently Sikaflex make a product that is suitable, but it could be pricey.

Epoxy will work great. Put on where you need it and you can even use nails or screws to temporarily hold it until it sets up. Alot of solvent base adhesives will just melt most insulation type foams.

I second the epoxy recommendation (and the adhesive warning). You'll be using epoxy anyway. For my trailer, I used System Three epoxy thickened with fibers for an adhesive (applied with a 1/16" notched trowel). Worked great.
