Widget headroom

Just wondering. On the Widget, by the time you put in the seats for the dinette and put your cushines on, when you lay down in there, it doesn't seem like you would have any room between your head and the ceiling. Am I missing something in the build. Thanks

I'm not sure what you're assuming about "putting in seats". Here's someone lying down to sleep. There isn't much headroom but it quickly grows as you move away from the back end.

The alternative is to sleep the other way around - but then your pillow drops off the end of the bed in the night

I was thinking that the seating for the dinette turned into a bed. And with the seating if I remember right was 14" tall it made the bed close to the ceiling with the curve in the back. I have not drawn it up full scale, maybe there is more room than I think.

For some reason, the image disappeared, so I've put it back.

There IS more room than you think...... I built this exact trailer 3 years ago and haven't had ANY troubles, whatsoever. The place you can adjust for headroom is in the footwell area. I don't know how tall you are but you can make the footwell different depths so you don't hit your head when you stand up. I'm 5'2" so I only made the footwell about 3" deep. Actually, I can stand in the doorway and my head doesn't hit the ceiling but not by much.

Don't sweat the back looking short, it's not.........
