5 ft Aluminum in B.C

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

I got my 60" X 120" aluminum from these guys in LA but they have a location in BC. Great service and good price. Because of a price break at 100# it was cheaper to buy 5 sheets versus 4 sheets. Go figure.

Nope but it's been a few years and "times have changed". They were quite reasonable and they did a great job of putting the al on a pallet.

Cheers,

Gus

Sign shops or places that supply/service sign shops. That's where I got my 5'x10' aluminum cheaper than the metal depots here.

Do they have a website so that we can see the different dimensions that they carry

I bought mine from a place that repairs semi trailers. Mine was 101in wide and 16ft long, it's used to replace the roof of the trailer. No seams on my trailer.

I got prices @ $74.00 for 4x8 and $110.00 for 5x10.
Now if I order it it all has to come out of L.A!
Here in B.C we have steel plants all over the place but yet getting some simple sheets of aluminum I have to order it out of the States

Depending on how many sheets you need. 5 sheets will probably be cheaper than 4 due to a price break at 100#. Keep that in mind!

Actually, as I recall, I picked mine up in Santa Fe Springs but LA is close enough.

Gus

I picked mine up locally from...they have 4x10 and 5x10 in mill finish and several colors in a couple different guages.

Note - it's not in Denver or even Colorado. They had all the colors in stock except for Chevron Blue, just to give you an idea of what is out there at sign shops. They also carry MDO plywood locally here.

One of my hobbies is electro platting I was considering platting metal if I ever got a teardrop but now I'm working on two other trailers at the moment so no time to do a teardrop plus with 3 dogs that would be a tight fit
