Checked all the metal shops in Phoenix and no luck with 5' wide aluminum sheeting. I really don't want to put a seam in the roof of the new tear that we are starting on. Anyone got a lead on where to find something?

Don't know about the Phoenix area but you might check with a 'Big Rig' trailer repair shop and see were they get there alum skins from May even sale you what you need. Just a direction you might take.

Have a good day.

...what Gage said...any trailer repair shop for 18 wheelers and I am sure Phoenix has a few, will have 102'' wide aluminum for repairs to the roofs of trailers...if they won't sell you any, they should be able to point you to their source

Not sure if this helps, but I got 5ft sheets of 0.040 aluminum from Harbor Sales http://www.harborsales.net/ . I am in PA and Harbor is in MD. They didn't charge me a dime for shipping of 4 sheets -- (2) 4x8 for the sides and (2) 5x12 for the roof (didn't have 5x10 so sent 5x12 at no extra charge). The packaging of the stuff was incredible - oak timbers, 8 sheets of 4x8 cardboard -- must have cost a fortune!
