I hve not seen this one in action but I have seen parts done with other similar products and it seems to work well. If done right powder-coating is powder-coating. You size is limited by the size of the oven that you "bake" it in. The guy that I know that does his own caoting has an oven in his shop. You may not want to use your kitchen oven.

I've looked at it and found that it is a little pricey for home use. I'll be getting the one from www.Eastwood.com for $129 with extras. Then again the one from Harbor Frieght is cheaper yet. Just saw it yesterday in the store but don't remember the price? I will get it after I get a used gas stove. I've seen powder coat work in paint shops and it is a little messy and there is prep work but the results are worth it. My opinion.

I was being facetious, but also being curious, I delved further and found this site that has a lot of information on the process.

I imagaine the cost would be high to have your chassis powder coated, and it doesn't look like something for the novice to attempt, even if you could rent "oven" space.

They powdercoat boat trailers. Check in the phonebook for powdercoaters. The cost is lower if you are not in a rush and can leave the items and they rill run them when they have a bigger order.
