If you could have only one door would it be curb side or street side?

Just wondering what side RV parks would also have it on as well due to electrical plug ins and what not?

Emergency exit? do you use it? do you test it? ect ect ....

Here's the thing about doors....

You put the main or only door on the side where it isn't going to be opened into oncoming traffic, based on your home country's driving habits.

In the US, RV parks put the hook-ups on the US driver's side. I don't know about other countries.

I use both exits on my RV. Having two doors makes it easier to make the bed and get at storage, as well as giving one an emergency exit.

I also think two doors would be more convenient, but if you were only going to have one door I would place it on the curb side for safety reasons as mentioned by Sharon. Additionally, when camping at state parks here in Texas, the sites are set up as follows;

You back into the pad for your trailer and vehicle.

The water and electrical hookups are on the driver's or street side of the trailer.

The picnic table and cover if one is provided are on the passenger or curb side of the trailer.

This way when you exit your trailer on the passenger side you will be facing your outdoor "living area".

Most parks also have pull through sites for larger trailers and motorhomes and they maybe situated differently (don't recall as I've never used them).

US Pull-throughs are the same as back-ins...hook-ups on the driver side.

I was thinking that it would be like that I doubt I'll never use it in a park ...but never say never Thanks for confirming it for me
