I have finally decided on an interior finish to try to keep build really simple. Cover interior walls with Faux Vinyl that has foam padding backing. My question for our experts on the forum are the following :
1) Can I glue Faux Vinyl diectly on sanded surface of harwood plywood sheet?
2) What type of adhesive to use? Will 3M spray suffice?
3) If not, how do I prepare harwood surface for adhesive.
Thanks all for reading.

What is faux vinyl? Isn't vinyl faux leather?
At any rate, if it has a foam backing, 3M spray should work fine. Just follow the directions on the can.

Yes, Faux Vinyl can be found at the lowesst box store by the yard and has a foam backing but vinyl finish.
Should I seal the plywood first?

Thanks,
Should I seal the plywood edges with epoxy to help it not delaminate? It will not be in humid enviroment at all, it is all desert.

I work for a conversion company that puts living quarters in the front ends of horse trailers. Almost all of our trailers are done this way on the interior. A spray adhesive is fine over unsealed wood. (We usually line the interiors of the LQs with OSB.) 3M brand is fine but relatively expensive. A lumber yard or cabinet shop may be able to provide cheaper brand. If you have a lot to do and have access to air compressor and paint gun, it will be cheaper yet to buy in a regular paint can. If you do it this way make sure you clean your gun well with lacquer thinner after use. Make sure you let it tack up before applying.
Best,
Tom
