I have spars across horizontally spaced at 17 inches top to bottom. Would 3/16 4x8 hardboard on the sides and 1/8 hardboard on roof interior hold up? humidity? disintegration?

Not worried about weight.

thanks

It would not be my choice. Moisture is not it's friend. My choice would be 1/4" plywood. Other may disagree but so far I have yet to see a teardrop made with masonite/hardboard. Is there some reason you want to use it?

Seems cheaper. Thats why I ask you, the experts :)
I really have not found anything else than 1/4 plywood.
So if I use 1/4 plywood, will crown staples to 5 horizontal spars hold?

Thanks

Of course I would be using this if aplicable inside cargo trailer sides an roof, not teardrop...

I dont plan to have any leaks, well thats the plan.
CT is all aluminum outside skin and well sealed. Here in the desert I dont worry too much.
Other than that, you think it will be ok then?

Thanks
