Does anyone know anything about purchasing a frame for a 5 x10 trailer?

Welcome to the forum... I'm not completely understanding your question... do you want to have a frame fabricated or do you want to buy something like the HF trailer....

P.S. What's stopping you from using a design that lets you build a 5x10 trailer on a 5x8 frame?

P.S.S. Most cub/modernistic designs use a reduced size frame...

I didn't know you could build a 5 x 10 trailer on a 5 x 8 frame. I'm not much for building.........I'm the marketer! Got an acqaintance that's building it.

If you have a Tractor Supply they handle a 5 X 10 no floor trailer by Cary ON. It is a special order to get one that size. They only stock the 4 X 8. I do believe that Cary On trailers have a plant in Texas.

Here is a wood torsion box trailer frame that could be the completed extension of your idea for a wood frame using wood beams. The top and bottom of the torsion box would handle easily handle the horizontal forces.

Here is there web sight! www.carry-ontrailer.com/ The no floor trailer is not listed but you can call them. The trailer is rated for 2000 lbs. If you order it from carry on they will set the axel any distance from the back of the trailer that you want.
