Interior cabinet Mod

Looking to modify my interior cabinets, since I pocket jigged the face frame into the sides and the bottom of the cabinet and the diviers also. I'm planning on removing the doors and the face frame and then build another 12" floor and re- jig it to the bottom of the other floor thats in place and then adding a piece to the face frame. One other mod is I'm going to add sliding doors and track and re-install. This should give us more room(Wifes only complaint) for our clothes and other items inside and we will still have plenty room inside. So what do you all think?

Cliff

So you want to extend the cabinets shown in this picture, from your build thread, another 12" towards the door?

Getting the boards to butt perfectly might be difficult, but otherwise I don't see a problem with it.

Thanks but looking at the pic I did   and that I wasn't seeing the light! May not have that much room.

Cliff,

If the cabinet mod doesn't work, maybe a roof rack to hold a suitcase (waterproof) so you can keep a day or two's worth of clothes in the cabinet, and have a place for more up top.
The case can also do double duty and be a place for dirty clothes.

Lay out the bulkier items like jeans jackets and sweats flat on the floor under the mattress. They will stay clean and well pressed :D
