Bendable Lauan For The Top

This past Friday, I found Bending Luan 8x4. I can take a 4x8 sheet and bend it in a circle, with little effort. I just wanted to share this. Oh yes $18.62 a sheet

doug, on some of those bending plywood you can get it for bending end to end or side to side is that laun the same way?

The one I found, bends end to end. I was so excited, I didn't think about asking about side to side bending. I can see how that too would come in handy,

I found it at a place called Greensboro Hardwood Center in High Point, NC I don't know if this will help, The product number is 14BGLAU. It is a fairly common product in construction,used in covering the inside of arches.

Just curious. That's a GREAT price. What's the thickenss? I paid something like $35/sheet for 3/8 bendable luan at Boulter Plywood.

I bought 1/4 inch they had 3/8 inch too. 1/4 worked fine for me. I plan to cover it with a sheet of aluminum. Later
