These look like they would fit my build perfectly (click me!). I was wondering though how bad two or three of these in my camper would reduce the insulation ability of the structure sense they do not have double glass or argon. Any other reasons why I shouldn't use them?

The specs have no mention of provisions for screens that I saw. Leaving you to devise your own.

Often lumber yards have small mock up display windows with double hung windows with screens. These are just like their big brother windows just minutures most are 15 to 18 wide 24 to 28 tall. You might ask if they have any and tell them why you want them. They will probably sell you a couple cheap. The colors may not match but you only see the trailer one side at a time

Mine were triple track aluminum storm sashs, double hung with screens.I have a forrest green and a brown one on the teardrop and in 6 years no one has noticed. :laughter:

I'd worry less about energy loss and more about the fact that they are NOT safety glass, which all RV-type and camper windows are required to be. Yes, several folks have successfully used similar windows, but these are, after all going into a moving vehicle, right?

Good Luck, and as always ...

CHEERS!

I was going to mention the glass. Just a quick story... I woke up in my van one night and forgot where i was and went to get out of bed as if i was at home...ended up doing a full force headbutt to the window...Hurt like hell but glad it was strong enough to take the hit and not break into long shards like normal house glass.
