What is the most common method of attaching a plywood floor to the frame and then the walls to the floor. Considering a bolt thru the bottom wall runner, thru the floor and thru the frame.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hey Muzz,

Welcome to the forum,

The most common method? Typically the floor is built up with 1x2 or 2x2s like this....

That gets flipped over, and bolted to the chassis.

Then the wall is glued and screwed to the 2x2s or 1x2s with galvanized drywall screws or stainless steel screws...

Also check out the Generic Benroy threads!

Welcome aboard there muzz...there are almost as many ways as ther are members here...you can attach the floor and walls directly to the frame with bolts or specialty screws, you can build a sub frame as shown above or any other method you can dream up...look at the hall of fame, members personal albums and build journals for more info and ideas
