The yellow kayak pictured weighs about 25 lbs. It's made of cedar with a polyester skin. It stands up to freeway speeds just fine.

Still, I wouldn't want to lean against a fabric wall while reading in bed.

Thats impressively light! Our Tampico Kayaks weigh in at 41 lbs each and are considered light for their size... Best of all though, I get to support a small local (North Carolina) company that makes a great product.
