Plastic t molding??

I see alot of plastic t molding on ebay, think this would work? I figure for the price I might as well try it. Input, ideas?

I got 0 hits when I searched for that on ebay... got an example?

Does this plastic t molding have UV inhibitors in it?

jessechop: I too saw some on eBay, if it is the same stuff it is in rolls and looks very flexible. It was in brown and white best I remember..

Well... at first blush it seems this stuff is made for indoor use... ie game machines. I don't know if there are any uv inhibitors in it. If not, of course a few years and you can replace it.

It's a good idea though. It should be easy to bend. To use it like I do on the doors you might have to use a flat washer under the screw, and paint it for protection.

At this point I've not been persuaded to switch from dead soft aluminum...

I gotta agree with Mike...no UV blockers and it wont last long plus plastic has a tendency to crack/shatter in cold weather...nothing like shutting your door and have all the molding/weatherstrip fall off...I would stick with AL
