Well Jim, sounds like you've got that plywood bending and laminating down pat. That is how I built the 1/2 Nelson Woody, and is solid as a rock. I have even bent and glued together, 2 sheets of 1/8" plywood around a 6" plastic pipe, wrapped with many loops of tightly pulled string. However, the last tear I built has only one layer of 1/8" lauan on the roof, but all surfaces are curved and additional curved stringers run from front to back. No problems so far, and it sure is light-weight.
