Austin area Teardrop builder?

Postby Philip72 » Fri Nov 11, 2005 1:42 pm

I'm looking for someone in the Austin area to build me a custom/prototype teardrop. This individual must have some teardrop building experience. Any help is appreciated.

I have to finish mine first. Other than the aluminum, aluminum trim, and finishing the interior, I figure I can finish in in an evening. That evening has been dragging for a couple months now.

I've been following Rocky's build for a while, but never got to see it while I was living in Austin.

Not to volunteer anyone, but you might talk to SteveH down near San Antonio. I saw his trailer and he does some real quality work and he's a hell of a nice guy. He might be a little bored now that he's finished his.

Thanks, Brian...I think. Actually, I already PM'ed Philip trying to find out what he had in mind, but so far, no response.

And, I'm like BG, how in the hell do you end up in Italy? Noticed you haven't been on here lately. Oh well, at least you're not in France!

I wouldn't go to France unless it was to invade.

One day I realized that I'm not married, not spawning, have a job that I can do from anywhere (web design), so why am I sitting in Austin? I had quit my brief stint in sales a few months prior and was itching to do something new, so I bought a one-way ticket to Italy and here I am.

About as simple as that. I dissappeared because it took a good 3 months before I was on the internet regularly enough again to check the forums. Apparently, the teardrop itch never goes away. I think I'm terminal. :D

I sure miss my woodshop, though.

Steve,
I PMed him too but I think there might be a problem as they are just stuck in my out box.
Philip72,
If you come down to look at Steve's trailer let me know I could take mine there as well. I live about 10 miles from him. And I need to see his tear since I missed seeing it at skeeter... er goose island
