Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Hi All,

I have been reading through the different posts on here about undercoating for the trailer floor. I see some people have just used roofing tar some use marine epoxy and other types of epoxy. I was looking and someone mentioned to use Henry's. Would that do the trick to waterproof and seal the underside of the trailer? What are your thoughts on this?

I used Henry's on mine and 5 years later the underside still looks great. No cracking or peeling. Just make sure you don't get it on your skin.

I just finished coating my new tear floor with Henry 209 wet/ use elastomeric coating. It was thicker than molasses in winter but eventually I got it all covered with a fairly thick coating. One gallon completely covered 4x8 piece of osb plywood including edges. You need a trowel or putty spatula. I will let you know how it dries. It is already getting cool here in eastern pa.

It seems to have done a pretty good job, I decided to put on 2 coats and I still have a ton left, been pondering on putting maybe a 3rd coat on before it gets too cold out here. I don't have any pics of after the second coat yet but I will upload once I get them. This stuff dried almost like a rubber coating seems to stick pretty good and seems like it will be pretty durable.
