Big drop ?

Postby dulcimerbob » Thu Dec 01, 2005 2:31 pm

Hello to all,
I am new to this board and to the teardrop biz and am considering a teardrop build this winter. I would like to build a more travel trailer like tear with more room than just sleeping quarters. I have seen the Maxitear online and that's more than I want . Has anyone had any experience with anything like this ? All help appreciated.

Welcome dulcimerbob. Glad you've come onboard. Keep asking questions and you'll get lots of answers.

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

Go to the 'Hall of Fame' in the upper left corner of this board. and click on the 'Hall of Fame' text, then search for 'Andrews designs' he has lots of different stuff on his website. Search thru and find the 'Lil Diner' website also, that might interest you. There are others that have what you are looking for.

heya DB, welcome to the board...what ya want is a TTT and not a TD. Checkout angibs site for the Widget, the Compact, and the Midget. for units with standup room also checkout Dales(cracker39) stuff, he is in the process of designing something you may want to consider also look thru the "hall of fame" and look for George T's "Compact GT" and don't forget the "l'ill diner"...you are at the right place so keep on looking around and you will figure out what ya want...when you start to build, we will be here for ya so don't forget to take pictures...you will find that we really luv da pics(right y'all) :D ;)

Wonderful music, don't play but I spend every Mother's Day weekend listening. With your skills you'll have no trouble building a first rate teardrop. Teardrops are great for Festivals.
