Has anybody built on Andrew's Widget design or anything similar ? I like the size and simplicity and think strongly this is what I'll build. Thanks.

dulcimerbob,

I think there are some similar builds in the Hall of Fame. Just click on the Hall of Fame a the top lefthand corner of the site and you'll see lots of examples of fine trailers.

DulcimerBob:

I believe that "mikeschn" patterned and cut a profile similar to the tidget or widget and posted several pictures. I am not certain how far he is with that project. Maybe you can try a search or PM him.

I'm not far with that project at all... I cut the sides and joined them...

I can look for the photos later if you are interested...

I can't even remember if I did a rendering of that one....

Mike...

P.S. Too many projects... too little time!

As far as I know, no Widget has yet been built. Several people have told me thay are about to start but, like cheques in the post, I'm inclined to wait to see evidence....

The nearest thing you can look at is Bob Kloppe's Midget build album.

My Squidget design was inspired partly by the Widget. But, it has gone through several evolutions and bears little resemblence to the Widget now.

Thanks to all esp. Mike. The framing done with plywood looks great. How'd you do that?
